Oregon Ballet School

The Oregon Ballet School is a private, year round school with a ballet curriculum based on the syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance in London.The school is dedicated to excellence in ballet training for  aspiring professionals or enthusiastic hobbyists.

In the Children's Division, instruction is designed to develop basic motor and social skills as well as developmentally appropriate ballet technique and vocabulary. The school promotes enjoyment of dance in an inclusive,  safe and supportive environment.

Levels: Pre-Primary ( ages 4-5 ),  Primary (6 by Jan. of current year),  Grade 1 ( 7 by Jan. of current year)

Grades 2-5 ( ages 8+) attend 2 classes per week. Students in the Children's and Vocational Divisions participate in the annual Royal Academy of Dance Examinations and Class Awards to ensure a high standard of training. The RAD exams are held in 83 countries around the world.

The Vocational Division offers ballet training for ages 11+  in the Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 levels.  Students attend 3-5 classes per week. Pointe work is included at  

Intermediate Foundation level.

In the Adult Division, classes are offered at the Intermediate level, both in person and on Zoom. For ages 55+ we offer the Silver Swans classes  at the studio.
